a central park of our very own

the moaning and groaning from Miami to New York transplants can finally finish. Everyone knows those people don't they? The "but New York has Central Park! and biergartens/beer gardens!" people. Right?

Well, next time you hear New York > Miami tell them to shut it. Miami is getting a Central Park of our own, ok so they just call it that and it's no where near as big, and it has a beer garden! What's better than that? It's got an Akashi, the sushi place of The Grove and South Miami and Alex #2 Roll fame (and the miami nice roll), right inside too.

The park at 1300 South Miami Ave isn't open for a while but there's a preview event at the Brickell Bier Garden (both spellings combined?) coming up next week from October 6-8 for Oktoberfest and the tickets are available for half price on our favorite flash sale site Gilt City. If you run on Cuban time, we'll remind you when the event is closer.
