girly nights on the horizon with haim, dita von teese and the notebook

I saw Thelma & Louise for the first time and I'm feeling particularly girl power-y. Especially after reading a stat that only 28% of lines in the top 100 movies of 2013 were said by women. 

Luckily, I have a short term remedy for the world's problems: Book tickets with your girl friends to Haim (The Fillmore) and Dita Von Teese (Revolution Live) and maybe even The Notebook at the Blue Starlite Drive-In.

also, this is the best, girliest dance video I've seen in a long time and it makes me want to invite over my friends and memorize the dance, old school, Spice Girls/Destiny's Child style.
