class act: reflections on my potential pottery classes

the Amelia Pelaez exhibit at PAMM got me thinkin', as most museums do, I can do that.

Really, it's more like an I want that but definitely, under no circumstances, unless I sell my organs on the black market, could I afford that, but maybe I can craft myself a piece that's somewhat inspired by it. In this case, it was the ceramics, with modest sketches, by the Cuban artist who had a knack for playing around with ceramics and optical illusions, that drove me to Googling

I've taken to talking a lot about classes that I want to take and heavily researching them but never signing up. My latest venture in class voyerism? Ceramics. I've even found the perfect class, a Tuesday evening beginners class at the Ceramic League of Miami

I'm also looking into landscape architecture at Fairchild and burlesque dancing at Miami Dance House. I'll report back if I actually make it to any of them. Remember my New Year's Resolution to stop talking and do? Now would be a good time for me to re-read that post.
