LCS

i was dying to go to Lion Country Safariso badly that I started referring to it as LCS in my everyday conversation as I dreamed of going there. One day I realized all I had to do was get in the car and drive there to make all my LCS dreams come true. Before I continue, you must know that miami nice was partially founded on my interest in Miami tourist traps; particularly those for kids. I've dragged my friends to the Museum of Science, the Miami Metro Zoo, Parrot Jungle Island, and I even tried the Children's Museum on the way to the beach and actually found a kid to come with me so it wouldn't be creepy, but it was closed. One year we called winter break "Winter Summer Camp" because we checked off a whole bunch of those from my list during that vacation.

Anyway, Lion Country Safari is equal parts sad (like any place with animals in captivity) and effing awesome. Here's why:

How awesome is that? At some points as you drive through with your windows up and your educational CD playing (which I turned off less than halfway in) you wonder if the animals are chasing you, think that you are maybe a rhino (I was in a gray SUV), or will peck your car windows in and jump into the backseat. Watch animals fight, play, run and flirt (always the funniest).
